		<description><![CDATA[Wonderful comparative photo series.  I will always think of SHAG and Julius Schulman/Pierre Koenig together.  Mentallly I respect each individually, but they live in my heart all together.    What an interesting design era.  I loved the cantelevered California house and narrow ties, narrow pants legs, thick black glasses, and the flip hair do.
Especially liked seeing the real Rose Seidler house interior.  Very, very cool.

The average middle class family in America in the 1950&#039;s was better off finacially speaking than the present day middle class. We work longer hours to maintain the same level of economic security of then. Inflation wasn&#039;t attacking the savings, people had a sense of family. Give me back the 1950&#039;s with civil rights! Beautiful pictures btw!]]></description>
